About us

STERLING PRESSER Architects+Engineers is an international studio for architectural planning and structural concept design, based in Berlin. The studio aims at bringing together the disciplines of architecture and engineering in order to integrate them from the beginning of the design process. It has contributed to a wide range of programs from design objects and sculptures to multi-program theatres and bridges. The team is experienced in working in a variety of cultural and geographical situations and understands the impact of projects in unexpected contexts with a common goal: to achieve sustainable projects.

STERLING PRESSER Architects + Engineers is seeking a Computational Designer / Parametric Designer with strong AI expertise to join our Berlin studio.

We are looking for someone with excellent skills in Rhino and Grasshopper who can help lead large-scale, performance-driven design and coordination processes across architecture, engineering, geometry, BIM and AI-supported workflows.

The role includes parametric design, AI-assisted exploration, geometry control, environmental and structural studies, workflow automation, and the translation of design intent into clear models, drawings, data, and coordination packages.

Your profile:

• Strong proficiency in Rhino and Grasshopper.

• Experience in computational design and parametric workflows.

• Interest in applying AI tools within the design process.

• Strong architectural judgement and design-thinking skills.

• Ability to work accurately across design development, technical detailing, and project coordination.

• Experience with Revit, Rhino.Inside.Revit, Ladybug Tools, ClimateStudio, Karamba3D, or similar software is considered an advantage.
